| Selina first got involved in acting when she joined a theatre company at the
University while pursuing her degree. The company took a van and a
collapsible stage set around Germany setting up in new locations every
night. Once back, her family persuaded her that a career in acting was
too hard and encouraged her to try journalism instead. But, after a few
years Selina returned to acting and trained at London’s Poor School.
Stage credits include Anna in Closer at the Soho Theatre, Olga in The Butterfly at Baron’s Court Theatre, and at The Workhouse Theatre, Camille in Camino Real, Hazel in Time and the Conway’s, Viola in Twelfth Night and Irena in The Three Sisters. Films include Laura in The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband for BBC Drama, Sylvia Plath in Ouija for the NFT, Grace in The Last Dance and Sam in Misbehaviour.Selina has narrated two series for Sky Television, and is now helping to devise a short film for the festival circuit as well as co-writing her first screenplay.
